Hello, fellow investor! We will review Plus500US (Futures + Prediction Markets) to help you determine whether it is the right investment platform for you!

We recommend Plus500US for people looking to trade Futures contracts, including the new CME Single Stock Futures, and Prediction Markets, all with a low fee structure.

Plus500US is built around two product lines:

  • Futures, which since July 2026 include the new Single Stock Futures on companies like Nvidia, Tesla and SpaceX and,
  • Prediction Markets, where you trade Yes/No contracts on the outcome of real-world events such as elections, sports and economic data. Both live in the same account, and you switch between them with a single toggle inside the platform.

On the downside, it is only available to US residents. We also have a review of the Plus 500 CFD/Invest platform.

Overview

The Plus500US platform gives you two ways to trade. On the Futures side, you get access to eight asset classes, from equity indices and crypto to the newly launched Single Stock Futures on individual US companies. On the Prediction Markets side, you trade event contracts on politics, sports, and science and technology. Both run in the same account and platform.

To get used to the platform, you can open a demo account with $50,000. It is an excellent way to get used to the platform since it mimics what you would experience in a real-life scenario (with real money). The prices are the same, and even the trading fees are applied when you place an order, as you can see in our simulated trading on the Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100:

Plus500US dashboard

When you feel comfortable and decide to open a real money account, you will realise that you only need $10 since it is the minimum deposit required.

Besides, you can access a Futures Trading Academy, which gives you educational videos (everything about Futures Trading, including trading strategies) and articles. We have enjoyed the videos in particular since they are engaging and explain the concepts in straightforward terms.

As a side note, it also offers institutional and IBs Financial Solutions (just in case a representative of a financial institution reads this review).

Products & markets

Plus500 futures gives you exposure to eight different asset classes:

  • Crypto: Micro Bitcoin and Ethereum;
  • Agriculture: Soybean Meal, Corn, Soybean, Wheat, Live Cattle, Soybean Oil, and Feeder Cattle;
  • Metals: Gold, Silver, Copper, and Platinum;
  • Forex: Australian Dollar, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Mexican Peso, Swiss Franc, New Zealand Dollar, Euro FX, and Japanese Yen;
  • Interest Rates: Micro 10-year yield and 30-Day FedFund;
  • Energy: WTI and Brent Crude Oil, Heating Oil, Natural Gas, and RBOB Gasoline;

  • Single Stocks: Futures on individual US companies such as Nvidia, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Broadcom, SpaceX, Meta, Tesla, Micron Technology and Eli Lilly, available in standard and Micro contract sizes.

Most asset classes will have “mini” and “micro” contracts. For example, a “Micro Bitcoin” is like investing at 1/10 the size of one bitcoin.

Available investment products

Moreover, Futures markets are open virtually 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. Still, opening and closing times may vary depending on the type of Futures contract and the underlying instrument. For more information, you can check the trading hours on the CME Group website, the exchange where Plus500US contracts are listed.

Single Stock Futures (New)

In July 2026, CME Group launched Single Stock Futures on more than 50 of the largest US companies, and Plus500 was one of the first brokers to offer them from day one. You will find them in the platform under the “Single Stocks” and “Micro Single Stocks” sectors.

A Single Stock Future lets you go long or short on one individual company, such as Nvidia, Tesla or SpaceX, with the mechanics of a Futures contract: you post margin instead of paying the full share price, and contracts are cash-settled, meaning no shares ever change hands. Each standard contract represents 100 shares of the underlying stock, while Micro contracts represent just 10 shares, making them accessible for smaller accounts.

Single Stock Futures

In practice, this gives you three things regular stock trading does not: leverage at Futures margin rates, the ability to short a stock without borrowing fees, and access to the market nearly 23 hours a day, 5 days a week, so you can react to earnings reports and breaking news long after the stock exchange closes. A notable highlight is SpaceX: with its shares in limited supply, the Single Stock Future is one of the few ways retail traders can get direct exposure to its price.

Keep in mind that these contracts expire (Plus500 does not support delivery, so unclosed positions are auto-liquidated at expiration), and that leverage amplifies losses as well as gains.

Prediction Markets

The second pillar of the Plus500US offering is Prediction Markets, available to US users alongside Futures in the same account.

Prediction Markets allow you to trade on the outcomes of real-world events by buying “Yes” or “No” contracts priced between 1¢ and 99¢. The price reflects the market’s implied probability of the event happening: if your outcome occurs, the contract settles at $1; if not, it settles at zero. You can also sell before settlement to lock in a profit or cut a loss as the odds move.

The range of markets is surprisingly deep. At the time of our review, we found contracts on:

  • Politics: primaries, nominees and election outcomes;
  • Sports: baseball, basketball, football, soccer, golf, tennis, cricket, hockey, MMA, motorsport, rugby and even esports;
  • Science and Technology: technology and science-related milestones and announcements;
  • Economics: economic indicators and interest rate decisions.
Plus500 prediction markets

Unlike Futures contracts, Prediction Markets:

  • Are event-based rather than price-based
  • Have predefined outcomes (typically “Yes” or “No”)
  • Settle at a fixed value once the event outcome is known

This makes Prediction Markets more accessible to traders who prefer short-term, outcome-driven speculation rather than continuous price movements.

However, it is important to note that Prediction Markets carry their own risks, including binary outcomes and limited flexibility once a position is opened. They should not be confused with Futures contracts, even though both products are available on the Plus500 platform:

Fees

The fee structure is quite clear.

For Futures:

  • Standard contract commission: $0.89 (per trade);
  • Micro contract commission: $0.49 (per trade);
  • Single Stock Futures follow the same commission schedule, starting from $0.49 per Micro contract (per trade);
  • Auto-liquidation fee per contract: $10 (this fee will only apply If a trader has not offset or rolled his position before contract expiration. In that case, Plus500 must liquidate automatically as it does not support the delivery of the underlying assets);
  • Withdrawal wire transfer: $0;
  • No inactivity fee, data fee, platform fee, routing fee;
  • Plus500Futures charges variable commissions (Including Exchange Fee & NFA).

For prediction markets:

  • Contract commission: $0.01

Exchange fees can be checked on the CME group exchange website.

Regulation

Plus500US Ltd is a company registered in the United States, licensed to offer the trading of futures via Plus500US Financial Services, LLC, a Futures Commission Merchant registered with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, a member of the National Futures Association (NFA ID number 0001398) and of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) group. Plus500US Financial Services, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Plus500US Inc.

It is essential to understand that the funds you deposit with a futures commission merchant are not protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), even if the futures commission merchant is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a broker or dealer.

Besides, the funds you deposit with a futures commission merchant are not held by the futures commission merchant in a separate account for your individual benefit.

Futures commission merchants merge the funds received from customers in one or more accounts. You may be exposed to losses incurred by other customers if the futures commission merchant does not have sufficient capital to cover other customers’ trading losses. However, when you open an account, your funds will be segregated from the company’s funds.

More information can be found in Plus500 Risk Disclosure Statement.

Finally, Plus500 Ltd, which owns Plus500US Ltd, is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250.

As soon as you feel ready to start with a real money account, you just need to select “menu” and switch to “real money mode”:

  • Identification document: Driver’s licence, Photo ID, Firearm Owners ID (FOID), Tribal ID, US Military ID, Passport or Passport Card is used to authenticate your identity. The stated document should show an identity picture, number, full name, date of birth, date of issue and expiry, and governmental institutions.
  • Proof of address document: Utility bill, Cable/Internet bill, Landline bill, Mobile phone bill, Bank/Credit card statement, Lease agreement, Mortgage statement, Insurance statement or card, Government agency letter (universities), Medical bill, Pension, Salary slip/Employment contract, Vehicle registration form.
  • Permission letter: in case of work experience in the financial sector – a document issued by the employer will be required.

To deposit money, you have these options with relatively low minimums (minimum sum per transaction):

  1. Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay – minimum sum per transaction: $10
  2. Wire transfer – minimum sum per transaction: $10

Bottom line

All in all, Plus500US is suitable for two types of traders: those looking to trade Futures contracts, now including Single Stock Futures on individual companies like Nvidia, Tesla and SpaceX, and those interested in Prediction Markets, where you can trade the outcome of elections, sports events and economic data through simple Yes/No contracts.

One nuance worth understanding: while Single Stock Futures give you leveraged, nearly around-the-clock exposure to individual companies, you are never buying the actual shares. If your goal is to own Stocks, ETFs or Options in the traditional sense, you will still need a conventional broker for that.

We believe that using the Demo account to get started is highly advisable, as it provides a realistic view of the platform, pricing, and available products. We encourage you to review the Pros and Cons, explore the platform in depth, and decide whether Plus500 Futures aligns with your trading goals.
